We engrave the messages that should outlive the fridge door.
Custom Engraved Cutting Boards makes personalised gift boards — weddings and anniversaries, real-handwriting recipes, realtor closing gifts, corporate awards, monograms and standing programmes.

Most personalised gifts are cards with better handwriting: read once, kept a week, recycled with mild guilt.
An engraved board is different in kind. The same words — two names and a date, a grandmother’s recipe, an address and the day the keys changed hands — cut into hardwood, hang in a kitchen for twenty years and get touched every day.
We are not really a cutting board company. We are a message company that works in wood.
Why we exist
Engraved gifts fail in ways that break hearts: a misspelled name discovered at the wedding, handwriting retyped into a font and stripped of the person, a closing gift that carries no way back to the agent who gave it.
Every one of those is a process failure, preventable before the laser ever moves — and preventing them is the entire company.
Proofed like stationery
We treat engraving text the way wedding stationers treat invitations: exact spelling supplied in writing, a proof at actual size, and a letter-by-letter check before cutting.
The discipline never batches. At one board or fifty, the checking is identical, because an engraved typo is forever at any quantity.
Handwriting, traced not retyped
Our flagship is the recipe board: a photograph of the real card, the actual hand traced stroke for stroke — crossings-out, margin notes, the outline of a fifty-year-old grease stain — engraved into a board the writer would have used.
Fidelity is the ethic. A faded original gets an honest assessment and a restoration pass built from the strokes that survive; it never gets guessed letters, because a guessed stroke is a forgery of someone’s hand.
The back of the board works for the giver
Closing gifts and corporate boards carry two messages: the recipient’s moment on the front, and the giver’s mark on the back — discreet, permanent, and quietly working for decades.
That back mark is the entire economics of the realtor programme: when the family sells in year eight, the name and number in their kitchen are yours.
Programmes make the habit effortless
Anyone gifting boards monthly — realtor teams, HR calendars, wedding venues — runs on a programme: artwork, back marks, typography and box spec held; a list in each cycle; proofed, engraved, gift-boxed boards out, sorted for handout.
Volume changes the price and the logistics. It is not allowed to change the proofing.
Dates belong here
Wedding dates, closing dates, established years, years of service, street addresses — the numbers on these boards are the point of them.
The only figures that never appear are prices.
Honest about the wood
Our boards are solid hardwood, finished food-safe, engraved into the grain so the message survives real use. Deeper construction questions — end-grain versus edge-grain, species, knife care — deserve a specialist, and our answers stay brief and honest rather than pretending this is that site.
This site is about what the board says.
What we will talk you out of
Retyping handwriting into a font. Guessing at faded strokes. A board for this month’s joke — that is a card. A logo dominating a retirement gift. And any engraving whose spelling arrived by phone.
Every one of those costs us money to say and saves a gift from quietly failing.
